Hello, again! In my last post, I was talking about the importance of music. I mentioned a connected memory. We all have that, don’t we? We hear a song in a moment or over a period of time, and it becomes the soundtrack. And every time you’ll ever hear that song, that memory comes back like a montage. It’s how I organize my memories. If I need to remember something, I just find the associated song and BAM! It’s a mental movie, and I can watch it frame by frame.
Music also helps me understand feelings and emotions. By allowing me to verbalize them. It’s okay to talk about it and talking is necessary to heal and move on. It’s like emptying the brain, and being able to think clearer.
